COME JOIN US IN MONACO – MONACO YACHT SHOW

September 27 – 30, 2023, Monaco

As autumn leaves begin to fall, the glitz and glamour of Monaco shine brighter than ever with the highly anticipated Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). Taking place from September 27 to 30, the event promises to dazzle attendees with Europe’s largest in-water display of large yachts.

Setting Sail in Monaco

The MYS, orchestrated by the renowned British events and publishing firm, Informa, was unveiled in 1991 with a focus on brokers and superyachts exceeding 20 m (66 ft) in length. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Port Hercules, this iconic event serves as a nexus for yacht enthusiasts, industry leaders, and luxury aficionados.

A Confluence of Luxury

Beyond the anticipated showcase of around 125 exquisite yachts, MYS is a sprawling canvas of luxury. Over 580 exhibitors, including titans from the realms of yacht design, luxury branding, and elite automobile companies, converge in Monaco, turning it into a hotspot of opulence.

Over the event’s four-day stretch, attendees are privy to more than 150 exclusive events. From press conferences to posh receptions and in-depth product presentations, MYS offers a holistic luxury experience.

A Journey Through Time

Founded by the visionary French entrepreneur, Maurice Cohen, in 1991, the Monaco Yacht Show has undergone transformative evolution. In 1994, IIR, after acquiring the rights, redefined MYS to spotlight superyachts ranging from 20 m to an astounding 90 m. This strategic shift led to a meteoric rise in attendance, with 15,000 visitors in 2002 and a fleet of 65 yachts gracing Port Hercules.

Fast forward to 2005, and the baton was passed to Informa after their acquisition of IIR. By 2016, the show’s magnificence was undeniable, pulling in double the 2002 numbers and featuring 125 yachts. The same year marked the debut of the “Car Deck”, an exclusive exhibition arena dedicated to luxury automobiles.

The Car Deck, over the years, has boasted lineups from global automobile giants including Aston Martin, Bentley, Hemmels, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Mercedes-Benz. Notably, in 2017, the event was estimated to have showcased yachts valued at a staggering €4.5 billion.

Setting the Gold Standard

While 2020 saw the event’s cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the legacy and resilience of MYS remain undiminished. As we approach the 2023 edition, expectations are sky-high, and the promise of unparalleled luxury awaits.

Join us in celebrating not just the epitome of yachting luxury but also the spirit of resilience, legacy, and excellence that is the Monaco Yacht Show.
