Having bought the yacht a year ago, the owner’s of the 54.3-metre Spirit wanted a fresh interior set-up onboard their new luxury yacht. As a result, Spirit received a full revamp of her interior design at Monaco Marine La Ciotat earlier this year.
Having been originally launched in 2011 by Dutch builder Amels, Spirit’s exterior lines were penned by Tim Heywood as part of the Limited Edition 180 series. Spirit has recently been hauled out again at Monaco Marine La Ciotat for the winter months in order to be completely repainted in time to spend next summer the Mediterranean with charter brokers Y.CO.

An ideal charter vessel, the tri-deck displacement motor yacht can host up to 11 guests in her five staterooms. Her full-beam master suite is adjoined by its own lounge, office, walk-in-wardrobe and ensuite The other accommodation is set up as three double staterooms and one twin with a Pullman berth.

Blending neutral tones with splashes of colour, Spirit’s new interior design was orchestrated by Dôme Project Interiors. The new design brings more light inside the yacht, and delicate, contemporary and tactile touches effortlessly capture what is said to connote the “essence of the ocean”.

Outside, her sun deck offers a choice between formal dining for up to 14 or a more relaxed teppanyaki grill. The extended space also hosts a granite bar and gym equipment as well as sunbathing and lounging options.

Having already cruised the world with her previous owners, Spirit is capable of travelling at a top speed of 15.5 knots and cruising at 13 knots by use of her twin MTU engines.
