Blue

Formerly known as Project Blue, the 160 metre superyacht had her name officially unveiled as she was handed over to her owners. Blue departed Lürssen’s Bremen facilities en route to Malta, showing off her a curvy Terence Disdale exterior and a wealth of onboard amenities. She marks the fifth-longest superyacht in the world, with a gross tonnage of 15,320 GT superyacht and a beam of 22.5 metres. She is also equipped with an innovative after-treatment system and a wastewater treatment plan which allows wastewater to be safely disposed of in “drinking water quality”.

Infinity

117 metre Infinity set off from Oceanco’s Alblasserdam facilities in May, and has since been spotted port-hopping along the Cote d’Azur. From the so-called Billionaires Bay in Antibes to the iconic anchorage overlooking Èze, she has wasted no time seeing the sights of the Riviera. She sports a sharp, geometric exterior by Espen Øino with naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects.

Juice

Feadship delivered 71 metre superyacht Juice in April, and she was captured soon after off the coast of Monaco. The yacht’s swooping exterior has been penned by RWD, while interiors are the work of Peter Marino. The yacht has been built for a keen collector of modern art, and her name nods to the auctioneer’s expression “juice on top”, which has a similar meaning to “icing on the cake”. On board highlights include an eight-metre pool on the main deck, a sundeck gym and a cinema on the lower deck.

Lusine

The 60.4 metre superyacht Lusine was recently spotted in London after crossing over from Heesen’s shipyard in Oss. She is the largest steel-hulled yacht to leave the Dutch yard to date (although will soon be eclipsed by the in-build Project Sparta). Launched in August 2021, Lusine sports an exterior courtesy of Omega Archiects, while her Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design interior sleeps up to 16 guests in eight cabins. Stand out design features include a touch-and-go helipad served by an enclosed air-conditioned reception area for guests to come and go in complete privacy.

Ahpo

The 115 metre Lürssen superyacht Ahpo was handed over to its owner in November 2021, after it hit the water in June that year. Penned by Nuvolari Lenard, the 5,000GT yacht has been described as “family focused” and features a host of sports and leisure facilities including a gym and a wellness area on the lower deck. Accommodation on board the yacht is for 14 guests in seven impressive staterooms.

Rio

The 62 metre CRN motor yacht Rio, formerly known as Project C138, was delivered in May after successfully completing sea trials in the Adriatic. Her first port of call was around the Mediterranean, where she paid a visit to St Tropez and other Cote d’Azur hotspots. The standout interior on this yacht is the “palatial” main saloon, which the yard described as a “single eye-catching space encapsulating all the elements of style that define the yacht’s design.”

Avanti

The 74 metre Amels motor yacht Avanti is the sixth hull in the shipyard’s Amels 242 Limited Editions range and now joins her sisterships Plvs Vltra and Synthesis on the water. Constructed under the codename Project Shadow, the steel and aluminium yacht sports one of designer Tim Heywood’s iconic exteriors. Stand out features include a dedicated owner’s deck with a foredeck Jacuzzi and an increased capacity helicopter deck.

Shimali

The 30 metre 100 Sunreef Power catamaran Shimali was delivered to her owners by Polish shipyard Sunreef Yachts. When she was launched in Gdansk, Poland in August 2021 the yacht was the yard’s largest power catamaran to hit the water. Constructed in GRP, she sports an in-house design and features a forward gym alongside a custom-designed bar with the galley found forward of the saloon. Accommodation is for ten guests in five large en suite cabins, with crew quarters for a team of six in three cabins.

Lady Lene

The 34 metre custom Van der Valk explorer yacht Lady Lene was delivered to her owners after hitting the water for the first time in November 2021. Constructed entirely in aluminium, she was commissioned by a repeat client and penned by Guido de Groot Yacht, Diana Yacht Design and Ginton Naval Architects. The interior is reminiscent of the 1920s and 1930s, with Art-Deco inspired features including curved walls, fluted wood and metal touches.

Shinkai

Feadship’s 55 metre custom explorer Shinkai was delivered after completing her gruelling sea trials in the North Sea. During her maiden voyage, designer Phillippe Briand of Vitruvius Yachts referred to her as the “perfect protective and comfortable cocoon from which to explore all the world’s oceans.” Sporting a matte grey hull, she features a “massive” eight-metre crane on the aft deck which is used to deploy the dedicated 7,400kg submarine. Alongside this big-ticket-item toy lies Shinkai’s limousine tender and the owner’s car.
