Turkish builder Alia Yachts has announced the completion of a major step forward in its 60-metre in-build project. The important milestone saw the keel of the project laid at the Antalya facility, Turkey in March.
The project sees Alia Yachts team up with Dutch studio Vripack and SF Yachts. The same build team was also responsible for the 55-metre superyacht Al Waab which was delivered by ALIA in 2021.
The 60-metre project was commissioned for an experienced yachtsman who has owned numerous vessels of varying sizes over the past decade. Now looking to expand his horizons, the vessel is designed to enable the owner to embark on world travels with his family.
“Following the footsteps of Al Waab, we are happy to mark the ceremonial keel laying for this bigger project of over 1,000 gross tons and huge exterior spaces.” said Gökhan Çelik, President of Alia Yachts. “With a reputation for bespoke, custom yachts and not being a mass builder, every custom yacht we deliver represents the unique vision of the owner and this project is another source of pride for us. The owner and his family have some incredible travel plans on the horizon and we feel honoured to be trusted to make this into a reality for him.”
The 60-metre project will feature six generously-sized staterooms, comprising two twins and four double VIPs. The upper deck forward is home to the master suite that offers the owner phenomenal views above the water, as well as a walk-in wardrobe and private lounge area.
Her beach club boasts a massage room, divestore, steam shower, gym and relaxation zone. She is equipped with an elevator that services all decks to allow for ease of movement onboard. The 60-metre project has semi-transparent side panels to protect her from the elements, much like her sister Al Waab.
